Ashley Weinhold is making quite a name for herself in the world of junior tennis. The 15-year-old from Austin has had an exceptional year in 2004, highlighted by winning two USTA gold balls and notching her best results ever at an ITF world event.

Weinhold took home the third and fourth gold balls of her young career, when she captured the singles title at the Girl's 16 USTA National Clay Court Championships in July and the doubles championship at the Girl's 16 Easter Bowl, USTA Spring National Championships in April.

Also just last month, she reached her first ITF semifinal at the North/American & Caribbean Closed ITF Junior Championships in Tulas, Oklahoma.

Other career highlights for Ashley include winning the singles title at the Girl's 14 USTA Super National Winter Championships is 2003, finishing runner-up in both singles and doubles at the Girl's 14 USTA National Clay Courts , also in 2003, and captured the doubles title at the Girl's 12 USTA Super National Winter Championships in 2001.
