Texas native Ashley Weinhold is making quite a name for herself in the world of junior tennis. She has had an exceptional year in 2004, highlighted by winning two USTA gold balls and notching her best results ever at an ITF world event.

Weinhold took home the third and fourth gold balls of her young career, when she captured the singles title at the Girls' 16 USTA National Clay Court Championships in July 2004 and the doubles championship at the Girls' 16 Easter Bowl, USTA Spring National Championships in April. Also the reached her first ITF semifinal at the North/Central American & Caribbean Closed ITF Junior Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Other career highlights for Ashley include winning the singles title at the Girls' 14 USTA Super National Winter Championships in 2003, finishing runner-up in both singles and doubles at the girls' 14 USTA National Clay Courts, also in 2003, and, captured the doubles title at the Girls' 12 USTA Super National Winter Championships in 2001.
